Dear Juno,
The situation that you got into seems pretty frightening but I'm really proud of you for the way that you're reacting. Abortion is always an option and it really always should be accessible. The thought of women having to perform illegal abortions and having the risk of dying or serious injuries really scares me. I'm thankful for the government sponsored programs where women can do it safely by professional doctors instead of back alleys. But, to me abortion is something that should not be taken lightly. It is serious it might be a small group of cells at one point but it still has the potential to be a grown human one day. But at your age not everyone is ready to have a child and to have responsibilities. Not only that but to leave the life your had behind your life become conjoined with the little child growing inside of you. You grow up faster you miss moments in life that without a child you could been a part of. But I also believe that adoption is a very suitable option. My mother is adopted and it's strange to think that if she was aborted that she and I would've never existed. And my mom still has emotion wounds from her real parents but she knows the sacrifices her mom made. My mother's real dad wanted my mom to be aborted because he was ashamed and didn't want his family to find out. But, my mom's mother refused she wanted my mom to have a good life. And she did my grandparents are amazing they have given my mom so much love. So Juno I encourage you to follow what you think is right. If you think that you can have this child when you're 17 years old in high school do it. If you want to have an abortion you have the option or if you want to adoption. Ultimately your choice no one else knows your body like you do no one else knows your heart.
